We recently had our family photos done with our fur babies. The photographer on the day was Amanda and she was great with our 3 dogs. She was so patient and understanding and very calm with all the chaos on the day but in the end delivered amazing photos, which we couldn’t be happier with. Our zoom meeting with Rebecca the Art Director went great. She was very helpful with helping us make our final decision in choosing the photos that suited our lifestyle and needs. We highly recommend this photography studio for all your portrait needs, so if you looking for a photographer, look no further.

We received a $1000 gift voucher for a photo shoot that included a free portrait as part of my husband getting his braces off. From organising the shoot to having the photos taken all went reasonably smoothly, although on booking you had to put down a holding deposit of $200 and then you only receive this deposit back if you attend the portrait ordering session. Instead of giving the deposit back they put it towards your order that they then talk you into buying more and more pictures. We felt obliged to purchase prints that don’t get me wrong are beautiful pictures but we didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars to get a nice family photo and that’s what we were pressured into doing. We were also advised that we would receive digital prints which we did get, but you can’t do anything with these. Can’t share them with family, can’t post to social media. Overall the experience was great, the photographer Darren was great, Rebecca was great, but the prices are ridiculous and unfortunately we regret spending that money on a family portrait when we could have got something just as good for less than $300. The free portrait I don’t think was even a thing.

We ‘won’ a competition on Facebook and were so excited to redeem the prize, which entitled us to a free photo shoot and print in their Geelong studio.

The photoshoot was enjoyable, however our photo appointment was where things turned very negative.

We were pressured into making a decision on the spot, even after we said multiple times ‘we didn’t anticipate the prices to be so expensive and couldn’t make a decision without discussing privately’ we were told we needed to decide on the day or we would lose our photos.

We were emotionally manipulated, with the lady using persuasive language to try and convince us. She kept saying things like ‘I have authority to pick one family to gift something additional to, but I’m not meant to, so please don’t tell anyone‘.

Don’t be fooled by ‘winning’ a competition, unfortunately it’s too good to be true.

The sale tactics are horrible and I cannot recommend this studio if you’re after an enjoyable experience.

What a great experience. Our photographer made us feel at ease and was great with the pets. Having a cat and dog sit still together is by no means an easy task.
A variety of different photos were captured with different backgrounds so when it came time to order we had plenty of options to work with. Very happy with the two portraits we have ordered. The finish is just beautiful.

We had a lovely experience at the shiny new studio in South Melbourne. Parking was easy, and the studio was well signposted.
All of the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The shoot went well, except for my uncooperative 2YO, however all of the tricks were tried to make him smile, and we got enough nice photos to make the the final selection hard.
Our portraits were delivered today and I'm thrilled with the quality and they will have pride of place on our photo wall. The turn around from sitting to selection to delivery was quick. It was a great experience. Thank you!

Karen has taken photos of my boys in the childcare setting, and I have always loved the pics of my boys so much.
She takes her time to get to know the boys and makes them feel comfortable with her before taking the perfect shot.
Highly recommended.

I had the opportunity to watch Karen work with children for preschool photos. She made them feel comfortable by asking questions about their day, letting them know why she was there and then showing photos she took on her camera that they absolutely loved seeing! Photos looked amazing once they came back which didn't take long at all!

Karen was brilliant bringing our large family together for our session. Having a range of ages of the children and several family groups, Karen was great at capturing all the photos we wanted.
Karen also had an amazing recall of all our names.
The photos we delivered to us on USB in just over a week and the quality is great. thanks so much Karen.

We had an amazing experience with Karen. My family and extended families had the best morning. There were 15 of us, and nothing was too much. We got heaps of different photos of different family members from singles, groups, and a whole family shots. We got everything on a USB and then had the choice to order photos which we did and they are amazing.

We were so nervous going into the shoot as we don't 'love' having our photo taken. But Katie turned us into natural models :) Our daughter immediately felt comfortable with her and the shoot was fun. OH - AND WE LOVED THE PHOTOS!

My husband and I visited the gallery to see the Member's photo exhibition. Wow, this would have to be the best exhibition to date. My husband liked the variety of images and said it would suit anyone visiting the gallery. I was impressed with the creativeness and very high standard of photographic skill that all the photographers displayed in their photos. I truly found it hard to pick the best three photos for the people's choice award. Well worth a visit.

We got married at the end of last year and we were glad to have Hanna and Zach for our video and photography. They were extremely friendly, cheerful and helpful throughout our whole journey. Hanna & Zach are a dynamic duo who we feel so fortunate to have had capture our wedding day. We connected with them the moment we meet and felt so comfortable. They created our vision and they were so invested from start to finish in our wants and needs. My now husband and I aren't ones who love to be infront of a camera at the best of times however, we loved how natural it felt with Hanna and Zach. We received our sneak peek and our mini video in 2 days which is just as mind blowing as the footage and prints. You will not be disappointed. They are both very creative, patient and helpful. We went to Ricardo through a school fundraiser, he made our family feel relaxed and took amazing shots, the whole process of taking the photos through to reviewing and selecting of the ones we wanted was so easy and in a relaxed environment.
Prices were clear from the beginning and certainly well worth the money.

Ric was professional and showed genuine care when photographing our kids. The whole process was seamless and we are thrilled with the high quality of the portraits.

We have the pleasure of hosting regular first aid courses in this space. When our clients walk in to The KO, they always comment on how beautiful and light filled the space it. It sets the tone for a great day of training. Karina and Olivia are great to work with and they are always accommodating to suit our needs. I highly recommend for all workshops, events, photo shoots.

I love The KO. I often hire out their spaces for my own clients. It is a great inviting backdrop with so much natural light and an amazing outdoor space too for photography and functions. I love the versatility of the location. Both Olivia and Karena are amazing to work with and great at communicating with myself and my clients going above and beyond.

The perfect event space. Have attended a number of events here and recently hosted a small private function in the kitchen and gallery space. It was so welcoming, warm and cosy for a small group but would also be fantastic for a bigger party using the courtyard in summer. Karina & Liv made it a seamless, stress-free experience. Highly recommend The KO!

Attended this studio for a handmade clay pottery class as part of a hens celebration. Was super chill, go at your own pace style. Essential techniques were shown to make some example pieces. Friendly teacher who will help you individually if you need it. I now have a functioning handmade cup (no leaks yay), a small vase, and a pinch bowl (note this is 2 people's loot). Limited to 3 pieces to fire per person - I only managed the cup in the allotted time due to the technique used, size, and my pace. Will have to wait some time for the firing process before picking up your pieces. Thanks for having us.

I really wanted to share my experience at The KO as I was so impressed and taken away by it.

I'm from Sydney had business in Geelong for the day. I needed a space to work from between meetings and a friend told me about The KO.

The space is so beautiful and was an absolute delight to work in. It's so fantastic to see something like this in Geelong. One of my clients is using it for an event and they even have a photo studio. Talk about versatile!

Mark & Claire are lovely, made the experience enjoyable & relaxed, got the very best out of our 4 grandchildren. Can't wait to see the finished product.

I have done two photo shoots with Hadel and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Hadel is bubbly, friendly and creative and makes every aspect of her photoshoots enjoyable and easy. Hadel and I worked collaboratively to plan the concepts, location, props and outfits. She is full of wonderful ideas and has an incredible mind and eye for detail. As she is such a lovely person to work with, she puts my nerves at ease and provides encouragement and feedback through every step of the creative process. The photo shoots themselves were full of laughter and brainstorming and she showed me in-camera shots in between poses to boost my confidence and make sure we were on the same page. Hadel has an excellent understanding of lighting and poses and the shots we took are some of my all time favourites. She is professional and down to earth and her editing is prompt and expertly applied. I give Hadel 11/10, she is a brilliant photographer and a lovely human to work with. I had my photo shoot with HS photography for my maternity shoot and it was such a pleasant experience. They also provided makeup services along with the shoot and it was a complete package. The pictures turned out real well and I have my little one’s shoot booked as well. Hoping to frame all of them on a nice wall :)

We are delighted with the pictures Hadeel took of our family. Hadeel was friendly and helpful from start to finish. Even our teenage children commented on how nice she was to work with. This resulted in them looking relaxed and comfortable in the photos. Would definitely recommend.
